Revolutionizing the Retail Experience with Innovative Design

The Fast Forward showroom design breaks away from traditional straight lines and embraces more dynamic angles, such as 30-60 degrees, to create a sense of forward motion. This design choice not only adds visual interest but also reflects the fast-paced nature of the retail industry.

One of the standout features of the Fast Forward showroom is the use of Corian in the production of showcases. These showcases are arranged in a way that creates a facet towards the lounge area, giving the space a modern and sleek look. The use of SMD LED technology further enhances the dynamism of the displayed products, with graphic design backgrounds and motion effects.

The flooring of the showroom is covered with a self-leveling epoxy with dynamic catchphrases, adding another layer of visual interest. The combination of Corian, SMD LED technology, and the unique flooring creates a cohesive and immersive retail experience.

Ayhan Guneri employed a hybrid approach to realize the Fast Forward showroom design, using both Corian and lacquered MDF techniques to achieve a solid surface that perfectly suits the space and concept. The jointless surface, reminiscent of Corian used on furniture, is complemented by a self-leveling RAL epoxy on the floor, creating a seamless and visually striking environment.

The Fast Forward showroom spans an impressive 620/110 m2 and was completed over a period of six months in Istanbul. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted on the interaction between nature and humans, as well as the physical conditions of the space. This research informed the selection of materials and production methods, ensuring a design that seamlessly integrates with the brand's philosophy.

Despite the challenges posed by the construction site and the need to maintain a quiet work environment for the company's operations, Ayhan Guneri and the design team successfully brought the Fast Forward showroom to life. The use of non-standard manufacturing techniques further highlights the innovative and creative approach taken in this project.

The Fast Forward showroom design has received widespread recognition and acclaim. In 2014, it was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award recognizes designs that demonstrate outstanding creativity, technical skill, and a commitment to improving quality of life.
